Union Jack Cupboard

May 31, 2012 |  by  |  Before & After, Blog, DIY, Summer

I’ve been putting that project off for a while, but finally got around to do it. I’ve been moving that piece of furniture around the world, I’ve painted it several times and now I thought, it needed some funky!

Meeting two really nice bloggers from London finally gave me that little push I needed to start!

Since blue and red don’t really fit well with the rest of the house, I decided to make it pink and orange.

I gave it three coats of paint and then sealed it with satin acrylic paint.

For more Brit Funky go to Susanne’s Blog, she made those fabulous pillows! Check out this kitchen and this fridge! And I might do this if I find the right shirt I can cut.

This took about 1 day (including the time to dry). I’m all excited, because I will be meeting my friend in Paris next week. So much traveling lately, but I love it!

Enjoy your day! And follow me on Pinterest! (If you hover over the images, you can directly pin them).

PS: I’m supposedly a Funky Mom, lol;-)
