Candy Boxes

September 24, 2010 |  by  |  Before & After, Blog, DIY, Home & Decor

Another DIY project this week. I found these two wooden boxes at a second hand store for $2,50 a piece. They look really ugly, but that can be changed with a little white/ chalk paint!

You need:

- Chalk paint

- White paint

Step by Step:

1. Sand the boxes a little.

2. Prime & Paint them with white paint. I took regular primer and latex paint.

3. Draw the shape you want for the chalk paint on the box. {I know you are going to hate me for this, but I don’t have a stencil, I drew it free-hand;-)}

4. Paint with chalk paint and let dry for 30 minutes. Voila!

5. Fill with candy, coffee, sugar…. whatever you like to store!

Enjoy your day!
