Father’s Day Printables

May 31, 2011 |  by  |  Blog, Freebies

In most countries we celebrate father’s day on the 3 rd Sunday in June…still enough time to print some of these!

Did you know that:

…Father’s Day originated in America. The first Father’s Day celebration (unofficial) was held in Spokane, Washington, on 19th June 1910.

…The rose is the official flower for Father’s Day. Wearing a red rose signifies a living father, while white one represents deceased father.

…It has been claimed by Hallmark, the renowned greeting card maker, that Father’s Day makes up the fifth-largest card-sending holiday in the world.

…The tie is the most traditional and famous father’s day gift throughout the globe.
