Fall Table Decoration

October 10, 2011 |  by  |  Blog, DIY, Fall, Home & Decor, Tablescapes

Make your cutlery an eye catcher on every table! This is an easy way to spruce up your existing spoons, forks and knifes for thanksgiving dinner or any other festive event.

Lavender and herbs are perfect to decorate with, they add a beautiful scent and lush color.

Glue a piece of washi tape on to the clothepin and add lavender.

…or take a mini chalk board and make it a place card, write the name and

add rosemary. Use sisal string to hold together.

Cut flag out of white cardboard, loop around the spoon and glue together.

Ok, this is not a herb, nor lavender, but still nice to look at, and it fits

perfectly the fall color palette.

  16. Cute ideas. I just finished sketching a bundle of herbs tied to a place setting. It was just “out of my memory” so I’ll have to actually look at some herbs and flatware to finish it as a painting but you’ve encouraged me to get back to it. I love the round tag and twine as a finishing touch. Time to get Grandma’s silver out.
