Polymer Clay Light Garland

January 18, 2012 |  by  |  Blog, DIY, Home & Decor

The other day I got an email from DaWanda. They asked me if I would like to participate in a  blogger competition. Of course I want to! I am one of 15 chosen living- and DIY bloggers around the web. DaWanda sent me a parcel with a secret item I would have to get creative with. That ‘secret’ item was polymer clay and this is what I did with it:

I made flowers, which I attached to the garland.

All you need is  Christmas lights and air drying modeling clay. My lights were green, so I spray painted them white. I also spray painted over the bulbs, which makes them glow very nice.

Instructions:

Roll the clay flat and cut out 4 leaves per flower.

Shape the flower and stick it onto the light garland.

Very easy and took only 1 hour to finish!

Thanks so much DaWanda for inviting me to the competition. I’ve never worked with polymer clay before, but I will definitely in the future!

Oh, and before I forget: Who has the most comments, wins! So please, show me some ❤ !
