Decorating with Chestnuts
While chilling at the lake the other day, we found our first chestnuts. Actually they are horse chestnuts and you can’t eat them. But they look beautiful and so we brought a bunch home.
They are perfect for decorating and children in England play Conkers with them. I thought I would give them a little extra touch and painted them white…..
How to:
1. Dip the chestnut in the white paint or spray paint it white.
2. With the paint still wet, dip a part of it in the glitter.
If you spray paint it, you will probably need some glue to hold the glitter, as the spray paint dries pretty fast.
3. Let them dry on a piece of paper (about 1hour) and you are ready to decorate.

That is an awesome idea! Thank you for the inspiration! Maybe I will use the idea for one of my following blogs
