Valentine’s DIY Competition
I’m all excited, because today we host the first creative competition on Funkytime!
We are calling all creative heads to submit their funkiest, prettiest, most creative and totally mind-blowing DIY project. The theme is
‘Be my Valentine’
So everything, that has to do with Valentine’s Day can be submitted , it just has to be your own project ! You can enter as many projects as you like, as long as each entry is different.
We will receive your submissions and post them on the Submission page. You have two weeks to submit your projects. When the two weeks are over, our judge will choose 3 finalists, that will win some awesome prizes!
The judge will be the awesome Kelly Edwards, the co-host and design coordinator for HGTV’s “Design on a Dime” as well as STYLE Network’s “Tacky House”! She just published her first book “The Design Cookbook- Recipes for a Stylish Home” which featured two of my projects as well;-)
She will choose 3 winners at the end of January!
What’s up for grabs:
There will be specially designed surprise box from OliveBox!
as well as some really PrettyPegs!
and beautiful WishyWashi Tape!
and 60 boxes, labels, stickers and pendants of lovely packaging from Selfpackaging!
and last but not least a beautiful desk calendar from Rifle Paper Co. !
There will also be a 2 prizes for everyone that spreads the love about this DIY competition! If you blog about it, share it on Facebook, Like Funkytime/Herzrasen on Facebook, Tweet it, Pin it…. Just tell me in the comments, that you did. Each option is one entry! (So if you tweeted and pinned, you can leave 2 comments).
I will draw 2 winners at the end of the month. You will receive a fluorescent orange agenda for 2013 from Dohe or a beautiful handmade calendar from Herzrasen.

I am going to come up with something for the contest, let me try and think, it’s been forever since I’ve made jewelry, been put off of it…but have lots of heart thoughts and beads, will get it to mind soon, hope I am still creative, thanks for boosting my artistic skills, been a long time!

I’m going to have to admit it, I just love these Herzrasen calendars. They are so perfect, artsy & stylish. I’m going to have to look them up, it would be even better if I won one though. Love!!
