Geo Painted Wooden Spoons
This is the perfect way to fancy up your kitchen tools. Everything wood goes!
Saturdays are usually my crafty Saturdays and this time I tried out an idea I’ve been playing with for a while. You all probably know by now, that I love to paint everything I find, so this time it turned out to be my kitchen utensils.
You will need:
► Wooden Utensils (I think these would fit)
► Black acrylic paint
► Sisal thread
I used acrylic paint, since I painted the spoons only at the tip of the handle. Simply paint some triangles and patterns, be creative. If you want to paint the bottom too, you have to use food-grade paint.
Let them dry for a couple of hours and then attach a string of sisal thread:
After finishing the spoons, I kind of got into the dark design mood! I love the dark weathered wood and I have a black metal and glass dining table, but still no lamp hanging above! So I looked a little bit around and found that this lamp would be a catch: An iron lamp, black and brass, perfect combination.
And that’s it! Make sure you enter our confetti giveaway!
