Healthy Lunch Box
These days, school dinners are probably healthier than most packed lunches. But if you want to make a packed lunch, we’ve got some great ideas for you. A couple of bloggers from around the bloggosphere started a joint venture, the “blogger project healthy lunchbox” (Blogger Aktion Pausenbrot) and you can be a part of it. Just pin your healthy lunches on our Pinterest board.
A healthy lunch box simply means plenty of foods that contain the nutrients that children need, and fewer foods that are high in sugar and saturated fat.
A balanced packed lunch should contain:
► Starchy foods. (bread, rice, potatoes and pasta, …)
► Protein foods. (meat, fish, eggs, beans,…)
► A dairy item. (cheese or yoghurt,…)
► Vegetables or salad, fruit.
And to make it even more fun, I designed a printable, that you can use for a milk bottle, you pack with the lunchbox.
Nancy’s Post was the first one, and she made (oh I love this!) pink cream cheese!
My healthy lunch has:
► Red Currant
► Cream Cheese
► Whole grain bread
If you don’t use a lunch box but paper bags, you can download this printable for your lunch bags.
Now pin away your healthy lunches and enter our confetti giveaway!
With this project we would like to support this organization.
