The IKEA 2012 Catalog!
IKEA announced the launch of their 2012 catalog for the United States starting in August!
They also introduce an iPad application and they will launch a design blog ‘Design by IKEA!
They also launched Share Space, a U.S.-only website in beta-test mode, where people can upload photos of their own rooms, add tags to Ikea products, discuss design and build wish lists.
I found this set of icky chairs at a garage sale last month for $40, they were really insanely ugly, the color, the fabric…yuck! But we all know, it doesn’t take much to transform it from trash to treasure!
If you have one of those lying around in the garden, why not give them a purpose?!

The day of ruffles prt 2!
Originally I wanted to make a ruffle duvet cover, but then ran out of ruffles, dughh!
So my duvet project turned into this beautiful drawstring totebag/ laundry bag made of cotton with a cascade of ruffles.

There was a time, when our hallway had this boring-safe-grandma-beige color! What is more boring than this color?! It was just too much ‘Vanilla’ for my taste.
Turning a hallway into more than just a hallway is always a challenge, but just because it is a small space does not mean it should be ignored!
