Hello again!
Did you ever think of pimping up your dish towels? Well, that’s what I did, and I am loving it! You can actually ‘tassel up’ a lot of things…
… Flower Tubes…
… Vintage Keys…
… Necklaces…
… Curtains…
Hi sweets, how are ya?
Today I tell you how to make your own cording for pillow piping. I wanted to make a chair slip cover for my dining chairs, but I didn’t have cording. So I decided to make my own cording for piping out of …… aluminum foil!
Here are the instructions:
Cut a 2inch wide fabric piece in the desired length. Cut your aluminum foil to the same length and roll it in to a pipe. Depending on how thick you want your piping, you might want to cut the foil’s width in half.
A good day!

i guys, how are ya?!
I came across these $2 artist aprons the other day and my friend Ang had this great idea to turn them into a bag. So, I sat in front of the sewing machine and did my magic! {Update: Anne from Craftgossip.com featured my bag today and Jessica from Me sew crazy as well. Thank you Anne and Jessica!}
This is how it turned out:
The day of ruffles prt 2!
Originally I wanted to make a ruffle duvet cover, but then ran out of ruffles, dughh!
So my duvet project turned into this beautiful drawstring totebag/ laundry bag made of cotton with a cascade of ruffles.
{UPDATE: My ruffle bag is featured on Knock Off Decor!}
Who does not like ruffles!? What a question! These ruffles seem to be everywhere right now! Well, you probably figured out by now, that I also love bakers twine, lol. So of course, I tried to incorporate the twine into my ruffle pillow DIY. {UPDATE: I am featured with this pillow on Craftgossip. Thanks Anne.}
You will need:
- Bakers Twine
